How I work

Researching Swedish family history has never been easier if you understand the language and have a bit of practice in reading old handwriting. There are many good resources available online that make life easy for a Swedish genealogist.

Some of the resources I use are:
National Archives:  https://sok.riksarkivet.se/
Arkiv Digital: https://www.arkivdigital.se/
Swedish Death Book (CD)
The database for southern Sweden: https://www.ddss.nu/databases
The Local Community Associations around Sweden (this is a very useful source for local history)
